Did you know that employers are legally obliged to take steps to minimise manual handling. The Manual Handling Operations Regulations 1992 (as amended) Regulation 4(1)(a):
“Each employer shall, so far as is reasonably practicable, avoid the need for his employees to undertake any manual handling operations at work which involves a risk of their being injured.”
